Mireles is principal of Allen Mireles Marketing, an integrated marketing and social media consultancy based outside of Toledo, Ohio, and founded in 1993 as Allen Mireles Marketing Communications. The firm has a diverse international client base in healthcare IT, manufacturing, and education.
Allen Mireles is a member of Dell Computer’s inaugural Consumer Advisory Panel (DellCAP), a founding member of Social Media Breakfast Toledo, a member of the Social Media Club and a guest lecturer for the University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University and Lourdes College. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Toledo and of the NW Ohio Chapter of PRSA.
Allen is an experienced public speaker and trainer and has spoken at numerous conferences including the first Exploring Social Media Business Summit with Jason Falls, The NW Ohio Prevention Conference, the Ohio Trucking Association’s Annual Conference, Social Media Breakfast Toledo, PRSA, PRSSA, University of Toledo, Bowling Green State University and Lourdes College.

Raised on the East Coast, Allen’s background includes marketing and public relations, radio and television broadcasting and fundraising. She burst on the scene in the Toledo area in 1986 as the director of the NW Ohio and SE Michigan office of the national “Hands Across America” fundraiser, responsible for generating more than $104,000 for NW Ohio charities.
Mireles was also responsible for bringing Ohio’s first major social media and online marketing conference, the inaugural “Exploring Social Media“, with social media A-lister, Jason Falls, to Toledo on May 18, 2011. She cheerfully served as both local coordinator and presenter on the topic of social media strategy.
A proud mother of two grown sons, Allen Mireles lives outside of Toledo, Ohio, with her husband Jesse, and new puppy Arlo, and never gets enough time in the garden.
